Half Marathon Coach Maria D.
Allow us to introduce you to one of the most cheerful and sparkling Pacers we know… Coach Maria! Coach Maria is our Half Marathon coach, and she will help you train for your first half marathon, or your 50th, following our half marathon program and incorporating fun and positivity into the plan. She enjoys changing things up a bit and keeping it interesting, so some of her routes will include the various trails around Whittier. She loves to have fun out on a run and will share a selfie or two along the way. Here’s a bit more about our wonderful Coach Maria.
- Most Memorable Race: LAM 2018, that was my very first full marathon. I proved to myself that when you set your mind to do something, you work hard, and if you believe in yourself, anything is possible!
- Favorite race to run: Malibu Half for its beautiful scenic course along the coastline.
- Best part of running: Running has blessed me with so many wonderful people in my life and lifelong friends.
- Favorite post-race meal: Juicy hamburger and fries, and Vanilla Muscle Milk.
