Hi everyone, welcome to our Meet The Coaches series! Leading up to the L.A. Marathon training kick-off (September 14, 2019), we will be introducing some of the great coaches that help make Whittier Pacers what it is today. Walkers Coach Hilda G.
You don’t have to run to be a Pacer. Whether you are first starting or serious about walking, Coach Hilda will get you moving towards your goal. She is full of contagious energy, is always positive, and makes every walk fun and enjoyable. Coach Hilda is here for you to briskly walk 1 mile, 5 miles, and better yet –you can join her in training to walk 13.1 miles! See below to find out a little more about our wonderful walking coach:
- Most Memorable Race: Mountains 2 Beach. I will never forget this race as it was my very 1st half marathon –the first of many to come.
- Favorite Race to Walk: Spooktacular. I ran and walked through our beautiful Uptown Whittier with my Pacer friends and family.
- Best Part of Brisk Walking: Feeling so energized and alive when I am briskly walking, especially when joined with my Pacer friends and family.
- Favorite Post Walk Meal: Breakfast omelette/pancakes.
