If you are looking for a supportive group to help you transition from walking to running, or perhaps you are coming back from injury and want to ease your way back into running, this is the perfect group for you. With Coach Audrey’s Pre-Conditioners group, you will build your stamina and endurance to use a consistent run-walk routine. Coach Audrey will start you out with a run 1 minute, walk 5 minutes interval workout for 30 minutes. By the end of the 12-week program, the Pre-Conditioners will be able to accomplish 5 miles with a run 5 minutes, walk 1 minute interval routine!   • Most Memorable Race: Santa Monica Classic 10k. It was my first 10K. I was nervous but also excited. I had no idea what the course was going to be like but knowing that I was going to encounter the Whittier Pacers cheer tent somewhere along the course kept me going and gave me something to look forward to besides crossing that finish line.
  • Favorite Race to Run: The place I ran my very first 5K – Santa Anita Derby Day. The course really is beautiful.
  • Best Part of Running: Running with others and meeting new people. I absolutely love the running community.
  • Favorite Post Race Meal: Any good hearty breakfast and I must have coffee.
