Introductory Speed Program Starting December 17

Training for the Pasadena Half in January 2020?  If you are interested in working on your speed, then check out the new Introductory Speed Program coached by Dr. Andres T. De La Cruz, DC, CSCS. This program is FREE to Pacers – yes, free — no cost. Dr. De La Cruz is a sports chiropractor, runner, and cross-country coach. He coaches the Cal State -LA Cross Country team.

Who should attend this program?  Dr. De La Cruz says, “it’s perfect for novice runners who have never trained speed before and advanced runners looking to get to that next level. Runners should have already built a running base of mileage and some hill work. Examples of workouts — form drills, stride work, interval work, short and fast repeats, etc.”

When: 6:30 pm on the following Tuesday and Thursday evenings:  Dec. 17, Dec. 19, Dec. 26, Jan. 2, Jan. 7, Jan 9, Jan. 14 and Jan. 16.

Where: The speed program will take place on the small loop around the grass soccer fields in front of the Rose Bowl Stadium main entrance.
